Registration
A) You can browse the auctions at any time without registering, but to place a bid you must first register.
– To register, simply click on the Login/Register tab and proceed with registration instructions.
– You only need to register once, as you can change your user information at any time once you are logged in. If you have forgotten your password please follow the steps required following the ‘forgotten password’ tab.
– Notes: There may only be one account per email address. The system will not let you create more than one account with the same email address.
Bidding
B) Once you have an active account, you are ready to bid. Simply navigate to the auction you want to bid on via the category listings or using the search features, and then place your bid.
C) Note the type of auction that you are bidding on. Standard, Reverse, Multiple Item, and Blind auctions all work differently.
D) It is highly recommended that you read over all sale, payment and shipping terms and conditions before you place your bid. Some items may not be returnable, but please note that by bidding, you are legally bind to purchasing the item if you are the winning bidder. Occasionally a few users have discovered auction end timer problems due to time zone/time sync leaving the possibility of minutes or seconds still open on the timer even after the listings has closed. If we do have a occurrence of this issue, Legends Memorabilia will refer to the auction bid log and identify the highest bidder at the appropriate closing time posted on our server. We apologize for this inconvenience and highly recommend bidders to input their proxy bids in advance to ensure the best possible outcome of winning a specific lot.
Completing the Transaction
E) Once an auction closes an email will be sent to the winning bidder containing payment instructions. Payment is required within 48 HOURS OF AUCTION CLOSE. If you are experiencing difficulties with payment instructions, please advise us immediately so we may assist you. If payment is not received within this time frame, the auction listing will go to the next highest bidder or be re-listed. If a customer decides to avoid completing the transaction for auction items, your account will be disabled and Legends Memorabilia will revoke further bidding activity on our website.
